HAINAN AIRLINES OPERATIONS ADJUSTMENT Due to commercial requirements, Hainan Airlines wishes to advise that services Sydney – Shenzhen – Hangzhou v.v. will be suspended from 12 February 2012 to 1 August 2012. The last date of departure from Sydney will be 12 February, 2012 and the last date of departure from Hangzhou / Shenzhen to Sydney will be 11 February,2012. All HU flights departing between 12 February 2012 and 1 August 2012 have now been removed from GDS sale. For passengers holding HU documents (880) on services affected by this route suspension, the following options will apply: 1/INVOLUNTARY REROUTE Passengers, with involuntary rerouting between SYD and SZX/HGH will be protected to Qantas and China Eastern. Protection Agreements between HU and MU/QF are currently being established in order to provide the maximum assistance for affected passengers to maintain their planned dates of travel. 2/ REFUND For totally unused tickets, full refund, without any applicable airfare penalties. Refunds may be auto processed through BSPlink with reference to “HU7914/3 route suspension” as authorisation for any airfare penalty waiver.
